After five short months of designing, a local architect, Mario Piccolo, was able to capture the wish list of California homeowners into one custom home. This single story 2800 square feet residence is located in the countryside of Hendersonville, NC. In addition to all of its unique and custom amenities, this home has an attached two car garage and a second garage that holds the homeowner's antique car collection. Although it has been a challenge to coordinate with homeowners who live across the country, it has proven that anything can be done with trust and responsibility.

With the Western Carolina mountains in this homes backyard, the owner requested to maximize the breathtaking views. Wether its from the breakfast room, living room, or even the patio, the homeowners can comfortably enjoy the scenic views.

No request is out of reach and this home was no exception. Several changes were made on site to achieve what the customer was hoping for. Some of these included; custom arches, trim, and wall additions. By the end of construction, this Donald Garner design ended with approximately 2500 square feet along with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. As you can see in the pictures, the open concept kitchen provides an elegant touch that flows into the main living room.

This beautiful home by the lake in a prestigious community in Hendersonville, North Carolina was built in accordance to a Donald Garner design. This open floor plan allows for a 3000 square foot home with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Asides from custom trim, tile, and cabinet, we included a surround sound system that can be heard all throughout the home. The spacious deck in the back faces the water to give it a one of a kind view.
Rhoten
After 2-3 months of searching for a plan that fit their needs, we ended up coming full circle to a plan we’d seen towards the beginning of the search. This plan offered the right layout and was expanded to a size that the client desired. Using stone and stucco as the main materials on the front, we were able to capture a look that fits quite well in the neighborhood, a unique blend of classic and modern. The impressive view was also important so lots of windows were incorporated at the rear, facing the Blue Ridge Mountains. Plenty of space was provided throughout the house to meet the homeowners' requests.
